I lived at 8 West Willow Street from 1966 to 1970. I loved it there and was very sad when we moved. It was the best place to grow up. I was in Cub & Boy Scouts with Mr. Heany's Troop (51). Loved growing up there. It help shape the person that I am now. Aloha!

Who could forget having to walk all the way to the cemetery for sledding. Always facing the creek. The good old days

And of course who could forget the Brangan brothers over at 306 East Elm Street - Mike, Dave, Jack and Dan. We dominated sports in the 1960's. Never missed a 4th of July parade. Rode my bike and Dad had the Lion's club float. I won a doggie one year after leading the band in the Wenonah park one year. Great memories and would not trade them for the world!

I check out the Wenonah page several times a year usually for events that happen. I lived in Wenonah on South Marion Ave., until 6th grade. I'm now 55!!! When you lived there you never forget it.

Thanks for a great website. I grew up on 205 East Maple in the 70's and 80's. Wenonah was such a great town for a kid to grow up in. So many fond memories. Plenty of woods, lakes, streams, and trails to romp about!

I lived here in the 60s and 70s till I went to college. Love coming back for the 4th at the Firehouse. Always run into old friends! Love the pictures but they need to post more! The lake, teahouse and the cemetary would be nice!

I lived there with my brothers and sisters in the 50's and 60's. I live in Hot Springs, arkansas now and hopefully some day will take my grandchildren and show them that we were children too - but in a different way.

For my cousins, my sisters and I, my grandmothers house (which I think is pictured) at 311 S. Princeton Ave. was our favorite place to visit growing up. We absolutely loved exploring the trails and woods and also that everyone in town seemed to know my grandparents George and Estelle Eldridge, my uncle Woody and my father David. It felt more like my hometown then the town I grew up in. Miss it very much.

Martha (nee=Bostwick) Olsen grew up on 7 W.Buttonwood St. She would love to hear from anyone that might know her, as she has lost contact with many folks since moving to Florida. Please email me, her daughter, if you'd like! This wonderful website brings back so many cherished memories- my grandmother lived at the same address for over 65 years. And I agree with the other posters- their 4th of July parades were the BEST!

Sigh! I miss the small town 4th. My memories of the Wenonah 4ths are among the best in my childhood. Loved the parade, the battle of the bands (and my years in the Bonsal Blues), winning a prize for decorated bike and and doing the Spirit of 76 playing my flute with the Maggincalda girls on drum and flag and winning first place that year, the canoe races at the lake! I wish I could replicate that feeling for my four, but alas we don't live in a small town.

I just got home from the parade and it’s always great to see so many old friends and talk about my childhood days! Thanks to one of my “Older Sisters” for telling me about this site. Maybe next year, I will enter the parade and ride my “Big Wheel” down Main street with a sign that says vote for “Rick The Rock”.
Anybody who lives in Wenonah wants to swap houses with me in Marlton drop me an email.
Happy 4th!

My brother is back for the parade today.Hope is isn't on the BIG WHEEL with the red white and blue streamers. We grew up in Wenonah and have great memories of the fourth. P.S. He would make a great mayor. VOTE FOR RICKY DALLEY! Joanne
